New Paradigm is the authorized licensor of the Shell - Paques Biological Gas Desulfurization technology for Canadian and Central and South American applications. Developed by Shell Global Solutions International B.V. (the technology arm of Royal Dutch Shell) and Paques Bio Systems B.V. this breakthrough gas treating technology utilizes naturally occurring microorganisms to treat gas and liquid streams that contain hydrogen sulfide.

CCR also owns CataChem Inc. which offers patented amine additives to control corrosion in amine treating units.
